Refund and Returns Policy
Australian Consumer Law:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Opened Tea Products:
Due to health regulations, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on tea products that have been opened. We take great care to ensure the quality and freshness of our tea, and once a product has been opened, we can no longer guarantee its integrity for resale.
Faulty Goods:
If you believe your tea product is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at cha.de.wabisabi@gmail.com with details of the issue and photographic evidence. Upon assessment, if the product is deemed faulty, we will offer you a refund or replacement depending on the nature of the fault.
Incorrect Orders:
If you receive the wrong tea product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for the correct product to be sent to you and for the return of the incorrect item at no additional cost to you.
Change of Mind:
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind about an unopened tea product, you may return it within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund of the product cost (excluding original shipping).
- The product must be in its original, unopened packaging and saleable condition.
- You will be responsible for all return shipping costs.
- A valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email) is required.
- Sale items are excluded from change-of-mind returns.
To initiate a change-of-mind return for an unopened item, please contact us at cha.de.wabisabi@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
Proof of Purchase:
A valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email, receipt) is required for all return or refund requests.
Return Shipping Costs:
- For faulty or incorrectly shipped items, we will cover the cost of return shipping and provide you with instructions on how to return the item.
- For change-of-mind returns on unopened tea (if offered), you will be responsible for all return shipping costs.
Refund Process:
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of approval and credited back to your original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund and for the funds to appear in your account.
Exclusions:
This refund and return policy does not cover damage caused by misuse or improper storage by the customer.
